Typing is a quiet corner of Pikopye’s Town where little kids get comfortable with a keyboard at their own pace. It works on any computer, tablet, or phone, and it is free.

How it works

There are two simple modes. Letters shows one big friendly key to find and press. Sentences builds up to short lines like “THE SUN IS UP.” Everything is uppercase so the screen matches the keys, Shift is never needed, and there is no way to lose. A wrong key just gets a gentle shake and another try.

Calm by design

Most apps for kids are built to hold attention as long as possible. This one is not. The rewards stay small on purpose: a soft pop, a point, a best streak remembered. No timers, no lives, no daily rewards, and nothing engineered to keep kids hooked. The idea is that clear letters, calm colors, and the good feeling of getting it right are enough.

Private by default

Names, points, and streaks are saved only in this browser, on this device. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and nothing to buy.
